All Point of Care clinicians who set-up patients for CPAP, APAP, Bi-level, or AutoSV therapy must be certified by National Sleep Therapy. In order to be certified, you must pass two on-line exams as well as attend one 4-hour, onsite training session at your facility.
The certification program is implemented in two initial steps. After completing these two steps and companion exams, you will be required to attend quarterly on-line web-hosted sessions which last approximately 30 minutes each.
You must review the POC Learning Documents prior to taking each exam. You will need to score above 90% to pass each exam and achieve your certification status. Clinicians are allowed to take the exam only two times.
